The Full English Translation of Putin’s Profoundly Important Valdai Speech October 2017

The speech of Vladimir Putin at Valdai this year was not covered in any seriousness by the Western media. Hardly surprising as he took the gloves off and spoke truth to the people NOT through the elites or politicians. Probably the most important speech made by a political figure since Churchill’s “Iron Curtain” speech of March 5, 1946I am inspired to publicise this important speech having read Dmitri Orlov’s blog mentioning it – (http://cluborlov.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/putin-to-western-elites-play-time-is.html_) – Facebook seem to be trying to suppress Dmitry Orlov’s excellent journalism so I encourage everyone to support and more importantly read his truly professional offerings – if that means subs of $1 a month it is the best value online.
A Russian blogger Chipstone(http://chipstone.livejournal.com/12…) summarised the main points as:
1. Russia will no longer play games and engage in back-room negotiations over trifles. But Russia is prepared for serious conversations and agreements, if these are conducive to collective security, are based on fairness and take into account the interests of each side.
2.All systems of global collective security now lie in ruins. There are no longer any international security guarantees at all. And the entity that destroyed them has a name: The United States of America.
3.The builders of the New World Order have failed, having built a sand castle. Whether or not a new world order of any sort is to be built is not just Russia’s decision, but it is a decision that will not be made without Russia.
4. Russia favors a conservative approach to introducing innovations into the social order, but is not opposed to investigating and discussing such innovations, to see if introducing any of them might be justified.
5. Russia has no intention of going fishing in the murky waters created by America’s ever-expanding “empire of chaos,” and has no interest in building a new empire of her own (this is unnecessary; Russia’s challenges lie in developing her already vast territory). Neither is Russia willing to act as a savior of the world, as she had in the past.
6. Russia will not attempt to reformat the world in her own image, but neither will she allow anyone to reformat her in their image. Russia will not close herself off from the world, but anyone who tries to close her off from the world will be sure to reap a whirlwind.
7. Russia does not wish for the chaos to spread, does not want war, and has no intention of starting one. However, today Russia sees the outbreak of global war as almost inevitable, is prepared for it, and is continuing to prepare for it. Russia does not want war—nor does she fear it.
8. Russia does not intend to take an active role in thwarting those who are still attempting to construct their New World Order—until their efforts start to impinge on Russia’s key interests. Russia would prefer to stand by and watch them give themselves as many lumps as their poor heads can take. But those who manage to drag Russia into this process, through disregard for her interests, will be taught the true meaning of pain.
9. In her external, and, even more so, internal politics, Russia’s power will rely not on the elites and their back-room dealing, but on the will of the people.
Dmitri Orlov in his Club Orlov blog (http://cluborlov.blogspot.co.uk/201…) added a tenth which is priceless as is his blog which I recommend to all to subscribe to:
10. There is still a chance to construct a new world order that will avoid a world war. This new world order must of necessity include the United States—but can only do so on the same terms as everyone else: subject to international law and international agreements; refraining from all unilateral action; in full respect of the sovereignty of other nations.
Dmitri added: To sum it all up: play-time is over. Children, put away your toys. Now is the time for the adults to make decisions. Russia is ready for this; is the world?
Text of Vladimir Putin’s speech and a question and answer session at the final plenary meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club’s XI session in Sochi on 24 October 2014.
It was mentioned already that the club has new co-organizers this year. They include Russian non-governmental organizations, expert groups and leading universities. The idea was also raised of broadening the discussions to include not just issues related to Russia itself but also global politics and the economy.
An organization and content will bolster the club’s influence as a leading discussion and expert forum. At the same time, I hope the ‘Valdai spirit’ will remain – this free and open atmosphere and chance to express all manner of very different and frank opinions.
Let me say in this respect that I will also not let you down and will speak directly and frankly. Some of what I say might seem a bit too harsh, but if we do not speak directly and honestly about what we really think, then there is little point in even meeting in this way. It would be better in that case just to keep to diplomatic get-togethers, where no one says anything of real sense and, recalling the words of one famous diplomat, you realize that diplomats have tongues so as not to speak the truth.
We get together for other reasons. We get together so as to talk frankly with each other. We need to be direct and blunt today not so as to trade barbs, but so as to attempt to get to the bottom of what is actually happening in the world, try to understand why the world is becoming less safe and more unpredictable, and why the risks are increasing everywhere around us.
Today’s discussion took place under the theme: New Rules or a Game without Rules. I think that this formula accurately describes the historic turning point we have reached today and the choice we all face. There is nothing new of course in the idea that the world is changing very fast. I know this is something you have spoken about at the discussions today. It is certainly hard not to notice the dramatic transformations in global politics and the economy, public life, and in industry, information and social technologies.
Let me ask you right now to forgive me if I end up repeating what some of the discussion’s participants have already said. It’s practically impossible to avoid. You have already held detailed discussions, but I will set out my point of view. It will coincide with other participants’ views on some points and differ on others.
As we analyze today’s situation, let us not forget history’s lessons. First of all, changes in the world order – and what we are seeing today are events on this scale – have usually been accompanied by if not global war and conflict, then by chains of intensive local-level conflicts. Second, global politics is above all about economic leadership, issues of war and peace, and the humanitarian dimension, including human rights.
The world is full of contradictions today. We need to be frank in asking each other if we have a reliable safety net in place. Sadly, there is no guarantee and no certainty that the current system of global and regional security is able to protect us from upheavals. This system has become seriously weakened, fragmented and deformed. The international and regional political, economic, and cultural cooperation organizations are also going through difficult times.
Yes, many of the mechanisms we have for ensuring the world order were created quite a long time ago now, including and above all in the period immediately following World War II. Let me stress that the solidity of the system created back then rested not only on the balance of power and the rights of the victor countries, but on the fact that this system’s ‘founding fathers’ had respect for each other, did not try to put the squeeze on others, but attempted to reach agreements.
The main thing is that this system needs to develop, and despite its various shortcomings, needs to at least be capable of keeping the world’s current problems within certain limits and regulating the intensity of the natural competition between countries.
It is my conviction that we could not take this mechanism of checks and balances that we built over the last decades, sometimes with such effort and difficulty, and simply tear it apart without building anything in its place. Otherwise we would be left with no instruments other than brute force.
What we needed to do was to carry out a rational reconstruction and adapt it the new realities in the system of international relations.
But the United States, having declared itself the winner of the Cold War, saw no need for this. Instead of establishing a new balance of power, essential for maintaining order and stability, they took steps that threw the system into sharp and deep imbalance.
The Cold War ended, but it did not end with the signing of a peace treaty with clear and transparent agreements on respecting existing rules or creating new rules and standards. This created the impression that the so-called ‘victors’ in the Cold War had decided to pressure events and reshape the world to suit their own needs and interests. If the existing system of international relations, international law and the checks and balances in place got in the way of these aims, this system was declared worthless, outdated and in need of immediate demolition. Pardon the analogy, but this is the way ‘nouveaux riches’ behave when they suddenly end up with a great fortune, in this case, in the shape of world leadership and domination. Instead of managing their wealth wisely, for their own benefit too of course, I think they have committed many follies.
We have entered a period of differing interpretations and deliberate silences in world politics. International law has been forced to retreat over and over by the onslaught of legal nihilism. Objectivity and justice have been sacrificed on the altar of political expediency. Arbitrary interpretations and biased assessments have replaced legal norms. At the same time, total control of the global mass media has made it possible when desired to portray white as black and black as white.
In a situation where you had domination by one country and its allies, or its satellites rather, the search for global solutions often turned into an attempt to impose their own universal recipes. This group’s ambitions grew so big that they started presenting the policies they put together in their corridors of power as the view of the entire international community. But this is not the case.
The very notion of ‘national sovereignty’ became a relative value for most countries. In essence, what was being proposed was the formula: the greater the loyalty towards the world’s sole power centre, the greater this or that ruling regime’s legitimacy.
We will have a free discussion afterwards and I will be happy to answer your questions and would also like to use my right to ask you questions. Let someone try to disprove the arguments that I just set out during the upcoming discussion.
The measures taken against those who refuse to submit are well-known and have been tried and tested many times. They include use of force, economic and propaganda pressure, meddling in domestic affairs, and appeals to a kind of ‘supra-legal’ legitimacy when they need to justify illegal intervention in this or that conflict or toppling inconvenient regimes. Of late, we have increasing evidence too that outright blackmail has been used with regard to a number of leaders. It is not for nothing that ‘big brother’ is spending billions of dollars on keeping the whole world, including its own closest allies, under surveillance.
Let’s ask ourselves, how comfortable are we with this, how safe are we, how happy living in this world, and how fair and rational has it become? Maybe, we have no real reasons to worry, argue and ask awkward questions? Maybe the United States’ exceptional position and the way they are carrying out their leadership really is a blessing for us all, and their meddling in events all around the world is bringing peace, prosperity, progress, growth and democracy, and we should maybe just relax and enjoy it all?
Let me say that this is not the case, absolutely not the case.
A unilateral diktat and imposing one’s own models produces the opposite result. Instead of settling conflicts it leads to their escalation, instead of sovereign and stable states we see the growing spread of chaos, and instead of democracy there is support for a very dubious public ranging from open neo-fascists to Islamic radicals.
Why do they support such people? They do this because they decide to use them as instruments along the way in achieving their goals but then burn their fingers and recoil. I never cease to be amazed by the way that our partners just keep stepping on the same rake, as we say here in Russia, that is to say, make the same mistake over and over.
They once sponsored Islamic extremist movements to fight the Soviet Union. Those groups got their battle experience in Afghanistan and later gave birth to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. The West if not supported, at least closed its eyes, and, I would say, gave information, political and financial support to international terrorists’ invasion of Russia (we have not forgotten this) and the Central Asian region’s countries. Only after horrific terrorist attacks were committed on US soil itself did the United States wake up to the common threat of terrorism. Let me remind you that we were the first country to support the American people back then, the first to react as friends and partners to the terrible tragedy of September 11.
During my conversations with American and European leaders, I always spoke of the need to fight terrorism together, as a challenge on a global scale. We cannot resign ourselves to and accept this threat, cannot cut it into separate pieces using double standards. Our partners expressed agreement, but a little time passed and we ended up back where we started. First there was the military operation in Iraq, then in Libya, which got pushed to the brink of falling apart. Why was Libya pushed into this situation? Today it is a country in danger of breaking apart and has become a training ground for terrorists.
Only the current Egyptian leadership’s determination and wisdom saved this key Arab country from chaos and having extremists run rampant. In Syria, as in the past, the United States and its allies started directly financing and arming rebels and allowing them to fill their ranks with mercenaries from various countries. Let me ask where do these rebels get their money, arms and military specialists? Where does all this come from? How did the notorious ISIL manage to become such a powerful group, essentially a real armed force?
As for financing sources, today, the money is coming not just from drugs, production of which has increased not just by a few percentage points but many-fold, since the international coalition forces have been present in Afghanistan. You are aware of this. The terrorists are getting money from selling oil too. Oil is produced in territory controlled by the terrorists, who sell it at dumping prices, produce it and transport it. But someone buys this oil, resells it, and makes a profit from it, not thinking about the fact that they are thus financing terrorists who could come sooner or later to their own soil and sow destruction in their own countries.
Where do they get new recruits? In Iraq, after Saddam Hussein was toppled, the state’s institutions, including the army, were left in ruins. We said back then, be very, very careful. You are driving people out into the street, and what will they do there? Don’t forget (rightfully or not) that they were in the leadership of a large regional power, and what are you now turning them into?
What was the result? Tens of thousands of soldiers, officers and former Baath Party activists were turned out into the streets and today have joined the rebels’ ranks. Perhaps this is what explains why the Islamic State group has turned out so effective? In military terms, it is acting very effectively and has some very professional people. Russia warned repeatedly about the dangers of unilateral military actions, intervening in sovereign states’ affairs, and flirting with extremists and radicals. We insisted on having the groups fighting the central Syrian government, above all the Islamic State, included on the lists of terrorist organizations. But did we see any results? We appealed in vain.
We sometimes get the impression that our colleagues and friends are constantly fighting the consequences of their own policies, throw all their effort into addressing the risks they themselves have created, and pay an ever-greater price.
Colleagues, this period of unipolar domination has convincingly demonstrated that having only one power centre does not make global processes more manageable. On the contrary, this kind of unstable construction has shown its inability to fight the real threats such as regional conflicts, terrorism, drug trafficking, religious fanaticism, chauvinism and neo-Nazism. At the same time, it has opened the road wide for inflated national pride, manipulating public opinion and letting the strong bully and suppress the weak.
Essentially, the unipolar world is simply a means of justifying dictatorship over people and countries. The unipolar world turned out too uncomfortable, heavy and unmanageable a burden even for the self-proclaimed leader. Comments along this line were made here just before and I fully agree with this. This is why we see attempts at this new historic stage to recreate a semblance of a quasi-bipolar world as a convenient model for perpetuating American leadership. It does not matter who takes the place of the centre of evil in American propaganda, the USSR’s old place as the main adversary. It could be Iran, as a country seeking to acquire nuclear technology, China, as the world’s biggest economy, or Russia, as a nuclear superpower.
Today, we are seeing new efforts to fragment the world, draw new dividing lines, put together coalitions not built for something but directed against someone, anyone, create the image of an enemy as was the case during the Cold War years, and obtain the right to this leadership, or diktat if you wish. The situation was presented this way during the Cold War. We all understand this and know this. The United States always told its allies: “We have a common enemy, a terrible foe, the centre of evil, and we are defending you, our allies, from this foe, and so we have the right to order you around, force you to sacrifice your political and economic interests and pay your share of the costs for this collective defense, but we will be the ones in charge of it all of course.” In short, we see today attempts in a new and changing world to reproduce the familiar models of global management, and all this so as to guarantee their [the US’] exceptional position and reap political and economic dividends.
But these attempts are increasingly divorced from reality and are in contradiction with the world’s diversity. Steps of this kind inevitably create confrontation and countermeasures and have the opposite effect to the hoped-for goals. We see what happens when politics rashly starts meddling in the economy and the logic of rational decisions gives way to the logic of confrontation that only hurt one’s own economic positions and interests, including national business interests.
Joint economic projects and mutual investment objectively bring countries closer together and help to smooth out current problems in relations between states. But today, the global business community faces unprecedented pressure from Western governments. What business, economic expediency and pragmatism can we speak of when we hear slogans such as “the homeland is in danger”, “the free world is under threat”, and “democracy is in jeopardy”? And so everyone needs to mobilize. That is what a real mobilization policy looks like.
Sanctions are already undermining the foundations of world trade, the WTO rules and the principle of inviolability of private property. They are dealing a blow to liberal model of globalization based on markets, freedom and competition, which, let me note, is a model that has primarily benefited precisely the Western countries. And now they risk losing trust as the leaders of globalization. We have to ask ourselves, why was this necessary? After all, the United States’ prosperity rests in large part on the trust of investors and foreign holders of dollars and US securities. This trust is clearly being undermined and signs of disappointment in the fruits of globalization are visible now in many countries. The well-known Cyprus precedent and the politically motivated sanctions have only strengthened the trend towards seeking to bolster economic and financial sovereignty and countries’ or their regional groups’ desire to find ways of protecting themselves from the risks of outside pressure. We already see that more and more countries are looking for ways to become less dependent on the dollar and are setting up alternative financial and payments systems and reserve currencies. I think that our American friends are quite simply cutting the branch they are sitting on. You cannot mix politics and the economy, but this is what is happening now. I have always thought and still think today that politically motivated sanctions were a mistake that will harm everyone, but I am sure that we will come back to this subject later.
We know how these decisions were taken and who was applying the pressure. But let me stress that Russia is not going to get all worked up, get offended or come begging at anyone’s door. Russia is a self-sufficient country. We will work within the foreign economic environment that has taken shape, develop domestic production and technology and act more decisively to carry out transformation. Pressure from outside, as has been the case on past occasions, will only consolidate our society, keep us alert and make us concentrate on our main development goals.
Of course the sanctions are a hindrance. They are trying to hurt us through these sanctions, block our development and push us into political, economic and cultural isolation, force us into backwardness in other words. But let me say yet again that the world is a very different place today. We have no intention of shutting ourselves off from anyone and choosing some kind of closed development road, trying to live in autarky. We are always open to dialogue, including on normalizing our economic and political relations. We are counting here on the pragmatic approach and position of business communities in the leading countries.
Some are saying today that Russia is supposedly turning its back on Europe – such words were probably spoken already here too during the discussions – and is looking for new business partners, above all in Asia. Let me say that this is absolutely not the case. Our active policy in the Asian-Pacific region began not just yesterday and not in response to sanctions, but is a policy that we have been following for a good many years now. Like many other countries, including Western countries, we saw that Asia is playing an ever greater role in the world, in the economy and in politics, and there is simply no way we can afford to overlook these developments.
Let me say again that everyone is doing this, and we will do so to, all the more so as a large part of our country is geographically in Asia. Why should we not make use of our competitive advantages in this area? It would be extremely shortsighted not to do so.
Developing economic ties with these countries and carrying out joint integration projects also creates big incentives for our domestic development. Today’s demographic, economic and cultural trends all suggest that dependence on a sole superpower will objectively decrease. This is something that European and American experts have been talking and writing about too.
Perhaps developments in global politics will mirror the developments we are seeing in the global economy, namely, intensive competition for specific niches and frequent change of leaders in specific areas. This is entirely possible.
There is no doubt that humanitarian factors such as education, science, healthcare and culture are playing a greater role in global competition. This also has a big impact on international relations, including because this ‘soft power’ resource will depend to a great extent on real achievements in developing human capital rather than on sophisticated propaganda tricks.
At the same time, the formation of a so-called polycentric world (I would also like to draw attention to this, colleagues) in and of itself does not improve stability; in fact, it is more likely to be the opposite. The goal of reaching global equilibrium is turning into a fairly difficult puzzle, an equation with many unknowns. So, what is in store for us if we choose not to live by the rules – even if they may be strict and inconvenient – but rather live without any rules at all? And that scenario is entirely possible; we cannot rule it out, given the tensions in the global situation. Many predictions can already be made, taking into account current trends, and unfortunately, they are not optimistic. If we do not create a clear system of mutual commitments and agreements, if we do not build the mechanisms for managing and resolving crisis situations, the symptoms of global anarchy will inevitably grow.
Today, we already see a sharp increase in the likelihood of a whole set of violent conflicts with either direct or indirect participation by the world’s major powers. And the risk factors include not just traditional multinational conflicts, but also the internal instability in separate states, especially when we talk about nations located at the intersections of major states’ geopolitical interests, or on the border of cultural, historical, and economic civilizational continents.
Ukraine, which I’m sure was discussed at length and which we will discuss some more, is one of the example of such sorts of conflicts that affect international power balance, and I think it will certainly not be the last. From here emanates the next real threat of destroying the current system of arms control agreements. And this dangerous process was launched by the United States of America when it unilaterally withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 2002, and then set about and continues today to actively pursue the creation of its global missile defense system.
Colleagues, friends, I want to point out that we did not start this. Once again, we are sliding into the times when, instead of the balance of interests and mutual guarantees, it is fear and the balance of mutual destruction that prevent nations from engaging in direct conflict. In absence of legal and political instruments, arms are once again becoming the focal point of the global agenda; they are used wherever and however, without any UN Security Council sanctions. And if the Security Council refuses to produce such decisions, then it is immediately declared to be an outdated and ineffective instrument.
Many states do not see any other ways of ensuring their sovereignty but to obtain their own bombs. This is extremely dangerous. We insist on continuing talks; we are not only in favor of talks, but insist on continuing talks to reduce nuclear arsenals. The less nuclear weapons we have in the world, the better. And we are ready for the most serious, concrete discussions on nuclear disarmament – but only serious discussions without any double standards.
What do I mean? Today, many types of high-precision weaponry are already close to mass-destruction weapons in terms of their capabilities, and in the event of full renunciation of nuclear weapons or radical reduction of nuclear potential, nations that are leaders in creating and producing high-precision systems will have a clear military advantage. Strategic parity will be disrupted, and this is likely to bring destabilization. The use of a so-called first global pre-emptive strike may become tempting. In short, the risks do not decrease, but intensify.
The next obvious threat is the further escalation of ethnic, religious, and social conflicts. Such conflicts are dangerous not only as such, but also because they create zones of anarchy, lawlessness, and chaos around them, places that are comfortable for terrorists and criminals, where piracy, human trafficking, and drug trafficking flourish.
Incidentally, at the time, our colleagues tried to somehow manage these processes, use regional conflicts and design ‘color revolutions’ to suit their interests, but the genie escaped the bottle. It looks like the controlled chaos theory fathers themselves do not know what to do with it; there is disarray in their ranks.
We closely follow the discussions by both the ruling elite and the expert community. It is enough to look at the headlines of the Western press over the last year. The same people are called fighters for democracy, and then Islamists; first they write about revolutions and then call them riots and upheavals. The result is obvious: the further expansion of global chaos.
Colleagues, given the global situation, it is time to start agreeing on fundamental things. This is incredibly important and necessary; this is much better than going back to our own corners. The more we all face common problems, the more we find ourselves in the same boat, so to speak. And the logical way out is in cooperation between nations, societies, in finding collective answers to increasing challenges, and in joint risk management. Granted, some of our partners, for some reason, remember this only when it suits their interests.
Practical experience shows that joint answers to challenges are not always a panacea; and we need to understand this. Moreover, in most cases, they are hard to reach; it is not easy to overcome the differences in national interests, the subjectivity of different approaches, particularly when it comes to nations with different cultural and historical traditions. But nevertheless, we have examples when, having common goals and acting based on the same criteria, together we achieved real success.
Let me remind you about solving the problem of chemical weapons in Syria, and the substantive dialogue on the Iranian nuclear program, as well as our work on North Korean issues, which also has some positive results. Why can’t we use this experience in the future to solve local and global challenges? What could be the legal, political, and economic basis for a new world order that would allow for stability and security, while encouraging healthy competition, not allowing the formation of new monopolies that hinder development? It is unlikely that someone could provide absolutely exhaustive, ready-made solutions right now. We will need extensive work with participation by a wide range of governments, global businesses, civil society, and such expert platforms as ours.
However, it is obvious that success and real results are only possible if key participants in international affairs can agree on harmonizing basic interests, on reasonable self-restraint, and set the example of positive and responsible leadership. We must clearly identify where unilateral actions end and we need to apply multilateral mechanisms, and as part of improving the effectiveness of international law, we must resolve the dilemma between the actions by international community to ensure security and human rights and the principle of national sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of any state.
Those very collisions increasingly lead to arbitrary external interference in complex internal processes, and time and again, they provoke dangerous conflicts between leading global players. The issue of maintaining sovereignty becomes almost paramount in maintaining and strengthening global stability.
Clearly, discussing the criteria for the use of external force is extremely difficult; it is practically impossible to separate it from the interests of particular nations. However, it is far more dangerous when there are no agreements that are clear to everyone, when no clear conditions are set for necessary and legal interference.
I will add that international relations must be based on international law, which itself should rest on moral principles such as justice, equality and truth. Perhaps most important is respect for one’s partners and their interests. This is an obvious formula, but simply following it could radically change the global situation.
I am certain that if there is a will, we can restore the effectiveness of the international and regional institutions system. We do not even need to build anything anew, from the scratch; this is not a “greenfield,” especially since the institutions created after World War II are quite universal and can be given modern substance, adequate to manage the current situation.
This is true of improving the work of the UN, whose central role is irreplaceable, as well as the OSCE, which, over the course of 40 years, has proven to be a necessary mechanism for ensuring security and cooperation in the Euro-Atlantic region. I must say that even now, in trying to resolve the crisis in southeast Ukraine, the OSCE is playing a very positive role.
In light of the fundamental changes in the international environment, the increase in uncontrollability and various threats, we need a new global consensus of responsible forces. It’s not about some local deals or a division of spheres of influence in the spirit of classic diplomacy, or somebody’s complete global domination. I think that we need a new version of interdependence. We should not be afraid of it. On the contrary, this is a good instrument for harmonizing positions.
This is particularly relevant given the strengthening and growth of certain regions on the planet, which process objectively requires institutionalization of such new poles, creating powerful regional organizations and developing rules for their interaction. Cooperation between these centers would seriously add to the stability of global security, policy and economy. But in order to establish such a dialogue, we need to proceed from the assumption that all regional centers and integration projects forming around them need to have equal rights to development, so that they can complement each other and nobody can force them into conflict or opposition artificially. Such destructive actions would break down ties between states, and the states themselves would be subjected to extreme hardship, or perhaps even total destruction.
I would like to remind you of the last year’s events. We have told our American and European partners that hasty backstage decisions, for example, on Ukraine’s association with the EU, are fraught with serious risks to the economy. We didn’t even say anything about politics; we spoke only about the economy, saying that such steps, made without any prior arrangements, touch on the interests of many other nations, including Russia as Ukraine’s main trade partner, and that a wide discussion of the issues is necessary. Incidentally, in this regard, I will remind you that, for example, the talks on Russia’s accession to the WTO lasted 19 years. This was very difficult work, and a certain consensus was reached.
Why am I bringing this up? Because in implementing Ukraine’s association project, our partners would come to us with their goods and services through the back gate, so to speak, and we did not agree to this, nobody asked us about this. We had discussions on all topics related to Ukraine’s association with the EU, persistent discussions, but I want to stress that this was done in an entirely civilized manner, indicating possible problems, showing the obvious reasoning and arguments. Nobody wanted to listen to us and nobody wanted to talk. They simply told us: this is none of your business, point, end of discussion. Instead of a comprehensive but – I stress – civilized dialogue, it all came down to a government overthrow; they plunged the country into chaos, into economic and social collapse, into a civil war with enormous casualties.
Why? When I ask my colleagues why, they no longer have an answer; nobody says anything. That’s it. Everyone’s at a loss, saying it just turned out that way. Those actions should not have been encouraged – it wouldn’t have worked. After all (I already spoke about this), former Ukrainian President Yanukovych signed everything, agreed with everything. Why do it? What was the point? What is this, a civilized way of solving problems? Apparently, those who constantly throw together new ‘color revolutions’ consider themselves ‘brilliant artists’ and simply cannot stop.
I am certain that the work of integrated associations, the cooperation of regional structures, should be built on a transparent, clear basis; the Eurasian Economic Union’s formation process is a good example of such transparency. The states that are parties to this project informed their partners of their plans in advance, specifying the parameters of our association, the principles of its work, which fully correspond with the World Trade Organization rules.
I will add that we would also have welcomed the start of a concrete dialogue between the Eurasian and European Union. Incidentally, they have almost completely refused us this as well, and it is also unclear why – what is so scary about it?
And, of course, with such joint work, we would think that we need to engage in dialogue (I spoke about this many times and heard agreement from many of our western partners, at least in Europe) on the need to create a common space for economic and humanitarian cooperation stretching all the way from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean.
Colleagues, Russia made its choice. Our priorities are further improving our democratic and open economy institutions, accelerated internal development, taking into account all the positive modern trends in the world, and consolidating society based on traditional values and patriotism.
We have an integration-oriented, positive, peaceful agenda; we are working actively with our colleagues in the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS and other partners. This agenda is aimed at developing ties between governments, not dissociating. We are not planning to cobble together any blocs or get involved in an exchange of blows.
The allegations and statements that Russia is trying to establish some sort of empire, encroaching on the sovereignty of its neighbors, are groundless. Russia does not need any kind of special, exclusive place in the world – I want to emphasize this. While respecting the interests of others, we simply want for our own interests to be taken into account and for our position to be respected.
We are well aware that the world has entered an era of changes and global transformations, when we all need a particular degree of caution, the ability to avoid thoughtless steps. In the years after the Cold War, participants in global politics lost these qualities somewhat. Now, we need to remember them. Otherwise, hopes for a peaceful, stable development will be a dangerous illusion, while today’s turmoil will simply serve as a prelude to the collapse of world order.
Yes, of course, I have already said that building a more stable world order is a difficult task. We are talking about long and hard work. We were able to develop rules for interaction after World War II, and we were able to reach an agreement in Helsinki in the 1970s. Our common duty is to resolve this fundamental challenge at this new stage of development.
Thank you very much for your attention.

Connecting The Dots – The Game For Critical Thinkers

In a world under the cosh of ever greater active and surreptitious propagandised agendas and outright censorship connecting the dots of truths, facts and alternative narratives becomes an essential and life saving credential.

Of course when the narrative assigned to the connections are shared it’s a racing certainty cries of conspiracy theory, alarmist, anti-Semite, terrorist, misogynist, radical, traitor and worse will scream out. In a world where the rulers’ voice is sacrosanct, where lies are truth and war is peace such reaction is the norm.

By now it is all but obvious that we live in at least two realities – the reality of those who see, work towards and cultivate their own supra emolument and the reality where the so called 99% are tossed like jetsam and flotsam on the waves of diminishing reward,  care and compassion.

Education as I have said in a previous article died a death centuries ago. The majority of state indoctrinated people never really started from any playing field. let alone a level one. To compound their sickness of ignorance they are encouraged to possess hand held mind control devices with ever more developed connectivity to central controls of manipulation under the guise of the latest v.XYZ. Television having set its goals way back in the 50s is now rampant with propaganda spewing from its every orifice on and off line. The amount of so called Fake News is called out yet spewed out from the very founts accusing truth tellers.

Division and setting each against the other, an ancient art perfected, merely creates ever greater confusion, befuddlement and stupidity lapsing into apathy.

The time for the Age of the Critical Thinker has never been more pressing nor ever more needed.

As a researcher, investigative fellow and sniffer after bullshit I have made a habit to question everything passing my eyes and ears. Only through rigorous examination, digging and questioning does it allow meaningful assessment. Such approaches do not perfect the process however they do allow intuitive insight to  connect the dots more easily to events and their outcomes. In this way we begin to see and trace patterns. From these patterns certain regular outcomes, reactions and responses clarify.

With habitual liars, which I can say with conviction, many positions of high office and political process and habitual psychopaths are littered with, it is highly complex and a very difficult task to hold a narrative that is not true. The more complex events are and repeatedly lied about produces faster degrading and changing fact lines eventually blowing up into exposure. Truth told has no need for change, adjustment or liability to forgetting facts. Lies etch their decay into features and draw out melanin, where truth lightens and rejuvenates.

Gopnik-Las-Vegas-ShootingToday a good illustration in the latest of so called terror events is the Las Vegas Shootings – the story and pattern of events changing almost daily. This is so as the blatant impossibilities of the facts as told against growing evidence-based recall move further and further apart from each other.

In every event set up to shock, inculcate fear and suppress reaction, determine pre-ordained paths to war and criminal intent against personal, national or international interests there is a definitive cui bono – who is set to gain? Follow this question and doors open.

Follow the money is and always has been the scent any serious bloodhound follows. With little or no mainstream objective interest it’s always down to the truly independent and alternative media to question more and deeper.

Despite what so many believe, the Internet holds thickets of treachery, deceit and diversion. Critical thinking, educated assessment and sharpened precautionary senses are imperative when sorting fact from fiction.

Most people  traveling these paths are driven by emotional reaction, personal agendas and thoroughly ignorant beliefs, often taken at face value off sensationalism dressed as fact then regurgitated as fact and dogma by such weak receiving reeds.

This effect, in the war on minds, is never discouraged as it serves to confuse, confabulate and distract from real facts and truth. Yet until we can sift the wheat from the chaff, we’ll be threshing all our lives in circle taking us eventually up our own backside.

To be in the game you need to play. To play you need to allow personal proclivities of emotional dependency to be laid to one side, preferably dealt with prior to playing. We all allow our emotions from time to time steer us wildly, so at least when it does burst through it demands grace and character to recognise it and regain control.

We can never find who controls what/us/the agenda, if we are unable to control ourselves.

Drilling down many of the events set out to control us and our lives look remarkably just like that, not the actions of lone wolves, events beyond our control or serendipitous.

On the other hand to jump up and declare immediately every event set upon us is a false flag, deception or calculated action is naivety itself. To foster any credibility at all, research, in depth analysis and investigation and especially a cool head are essential before judgment and final analysis is made.

trillionsofbytesThe Age of the Internet and instant access to trillions of bytes of information does not help, even though it hangs there like some sweetie boon. It encourages senseless non thinkers to proclaim their omnipotent armchair insight into exactly who, why and when events transpired purely because a YouTube video or tweet says so or a breaking news article proclaims spurious nonsense.

The Internet absolutely broadens our reach to information, news, good bad and indifferent but does not automatically qualify how it is interpreted. That sadly is down to individual intelligence, use of all our critical faculties and desire to find the kernel of truth. As much as on the spot interviewing, reporting and investigation is essential, those that do follow this well worn path get results and experiential feedback.

While it is a thrill and crudely titillating to make emotional drama out of every aspect of life as it presents itself, by merely feeding on that false drama self-created through our own lens, it becomes mostly not only misleading but a disease in itself difficult in its addictive nature to cure. Cognitive dissonance can ring loudly through inept investigating and leaps of fantasy, as its limpet-like adhesion to official explanations and self nurturing comfort zones supports its right to survive.War_going_on_for_your_Mind

There is a war on for our minds, that is certain and until we individually determine to become cognitively discriminating and far more cogent, we have all but lost any battle we may undertake. Patience, reflection, incisive investigation and being able to kill the Buddha when you meet him on the road is part and parcel of building strong defences towards critical thinking, truth seeking and salient outcomes.

The most important part of our development is the nurture, recognition and development of our critical faculties. It’s a life long process yet carries rewards so profound we will wish we had started at pre-school – well why not –  it is what they call in indigenous terms – education!

Mens vincit omnia! – Mind Conquers all!

The Big Shut Down – Towards a Voiceless Populace

In any successful totalitarian regime, any dictatorship worth its salt the necessity to shut down the voice of the people diverging the party line is paramount.
Today, unlike prior times in history it is far more complex than raiding an errant newspaper, arresting the pamphleteers. In the Internet age many eclectic and diverse alternative narratives rage their anger and speak their truth.

This is a saving grace as the mainstream media, both print and television are so embedded and suckle at the lying tit of oligarchs and Governments, an opposition voice must be able to breath truth and sanity into the listening or awakening ears of the masses. Yet this saving grace comes with a jackboot swung into its Achilles heel – social media corporations who have even from the get go been infiltrated or accepted willingly as part of the control mechanism.

Technology, as I have iterated before, has gifted the final tool of compliance and information feed all other attempts before it would have died for. This downside has allowed the state, whichever one, to ‘see into’ each and everyone of our lives. They are freely able to determine through their Machiavellian means and algorithms who the resistance is, who the main instigators of truth are in their dystopian world of psychopathic control.

As Google joins Facebook and Twitter in supplying previous well guarded information on each of us to respective Government agencies and corporate interests, we are being targeted like never before.

In Spain any semblance of pretending to be bastions of democracy is forcefully obstructed by a growing police and government intervention that is more akin to Franco’s regime of the last century than a free and open Europe of today. Many instances of preventing the Catalonian referendum taking place are rampant.

In the UK the present government passes laws surreptitiously permitting private security firms such as Serco and G4S to arrest citizens on the spot at will and at their private discretion. A more vivid example of the police state in action, the democratic so called impartiality of what used to be a bastion example of police conduct, torn to shreds as a psychotic, desperate Tory party tries in vain to stifle the will of the people before it goes into final meltdown.

In the United States of America, the police lost it years ago and daily reports of their murderous, illogical slaughter  almost tip the scales of overkill (pun intended) on the national and international emotional responsive revulsion of such habitual criminality. As in many other Western states, the training these forces have had from a true terror state The State of Israel, as they stream back from special training sessions offered by this pariah of human iniquity, merely points out who is leading these movements, who is condoning them and most importantly who is spreading the closing of free speech, movement and the voices of truth and expression.

The USA through its utterly infiltrated and toxic agency the FBI have demanded the social media giants give them full and free access to all the information on the billions of users worldwide. In spite of such warnings from the likes of Wikileaks, whistle-blowers and brave individuals speaking out, the net has been cast to capture all, including the last vestiges of net neutrality.

The gargantuan, sickeningly wealthy Apple Corporation, by including face recognition in its user security as the single way to access handheld devices, hands the State an immediate and valuable tracking system able to be used through every CCTV, security system tracking device on the planet.

Of course the majority of users, just as they’re completely oblivious accepting the T and Cs of these behemoths, never give a flying fig that they make themselves available as lambs to the slaughter of any state security apparatus. Thoughts they are not criminals nor commit criminal activity utterly belies the fact everyone in the present system is considered criminal until they can themselves prove they are innocent. This travesty is growing by the day. That innocence becomes meaningless with a system that has no regard for the principles of fairness, truth and innocence is more proof totalitarian, fascist rule becomes embedded as we sleepwalk into compliance. We only need to look again at the present regime that calls itself the State of Israel to see where so many lessons have been either willingly taken on board or forced through the usual forms of blackmail, enticement and force of foreign governments by this cancer of a state.

As much as many of us know these existing unacceptable problems in present day society, the question arises as to how we can fight back, regain some semblance of independent movement, voice and potency.

The obvious immediate solution would be to discard any interaction with social media tools, apps or interactive modalities. This of course is more a pipe dream than reality. We have been lassoed already too deeply into the conveniences of such modalities.

Such movements as BDS show the world that a powerful people’s voice can build and like many mosquitoes irritate and frustrate the voice of totalitarian control. As much as petitions online may assuage the personal conscience of the armchair activist, most times it farts against a hurricane of deafness from the criminals’ side. Add to that the infiltration of the criminals has long ago dug deep into many of such social activism.

Then with poverty, austerity, weighty pressures of withdrawal of social benefit, support and services by governments further exacerbating feelings of helplessness and power from those so put upon, apathy is well fed and subjugation is fertilized.

Of course if we were to take the longer road, as proven from history, that all such systems of control and persecution finally fall on their own sword of arrogance, feelings of superiority and omnipotence with hubris cannibalizing all their plans and schemes, we could see change.

However in an age where impatience is a main driver this is not seen as a solution nor is healthy for our present woes.

Albeit suffering often leads to instigating remedial action, great or small, again the demand and surrender to enduring a lengthy application of the crimes inflicted by the criminals, is not positive.

So what is?

Withdrawing our interaction, support, convenient or accepted, will hurt, especially where the bottom line is impacted. The fight against and refusal to buy into the divisive mechanisms thrown to the crowd like bread to the unwashed is imperative. Every day we can see the division thrust onto poor mentally under exercised minds, be it political correctness, gender relational, race, creed or cultural diversity. All these are smoke screens for travesties to take place in plain sight.

The more we are told there is intolerance the more we are being treated to intolerance and subjected to loss of freedoms. If only each one of us would seriously consider how we act, react, respond and negotiate life’s contract making sure we are to ourselves as we would like others to be then this is a start in change. However since many have been mind moulded into believing it is never our own fault but always others we continue to be manipulated in the lies of our controllers. We have to take personal responsibility and action towards better before anything changes or we are able to awaken from our delusional state willingly entered through past choices.

If that feels too much and too hard to either contemplate or action then look forward to the further imprisonment of both mind and body such responses bring upon you. If you are awake or willing to make such changes as are demanded then it is incumbent on each one of us to share with those we can help and/or influence. Since such actions are most effective on a face to face level, it is foolish to believe cyber connectivity is all that is needed. With all good practice every platform helps yet person to person is the very strongest and most powerful.

The truth that our inter-connectivity in cyber space is the best way is merely one horrendous plan by the powers that be to destroy even further real, flesh and blood community. For the true answer to so many ills today is the return of real life community with all its support mechanisms, loving kindness, care and humanity.

Without that we are all the poorer and The Big Shut Down will have permanently taken our collective and individual voices and silenced them forever!

Decline and Fall of the American Empire and the Coming of Age?

In the soon to be published Angel of Redemption, next volume in The Freedom Cycle, the inevitable alienation of a degenerate, fast fading empire is faced with a grim reality – extinction or the move to something akin to adulthood, sanity and true participation into a determined exploration into real humanity and positive evolution.

These stark realities and basic truths are presently witnessed by a dumbstruck world as being a far off, almost intangible possibility. As the serpentine, psychopathic hydra that is the Deep State and global cabal manipulates and manages America’s destruction, many  having rarely done any homework cannot and consistently refuse to acknowledge the direction and road presently traveled or herded along. If Darwin could voice an opinion he would, I am sure, agree this to be an exemplary example of  survival demanded, not so much by the fittest but of the intelligently informed. As few as these critical thinkers  presently represent, in spite of  global connectivity and suitable educative materials available, it is through absolute necessity this more individually intelligent and critically aware group must muster the exponential growth needed to affect everyone’s future for the better. us-marine-corp-saddam-hussein-fallsScenes of Saddam Hussein’s statue toppling, during the deception that was the Iraq War of 2003 raises its egregious head again in 2017 as Americans in Durham, North Carolina pull down a statue to the Confederate cause. Although most likely utterly ignorant of the causes, outcomes and why with all of that First American Civil War, these actions merely serve to show how one event, the Charlottesville engagement,  inevitably inflames and becomes a useful trigger to set off similar reactions around the country, like falling dominoes.

The Civil War and many of the supposed reasons for its occurrence have, like so much in US history, never properly been resolved, understood let alone learned from. Today many feel herd group activation by way of violent means is acceptable. Those that drive this imperative utilize this thought form to their own advantage. Irrational ill directed anger and vengeance is the mark of an authoritarian driven following. Its outcomes inevitably lead to greater and greater division, disorder and beg for the need to control through brutish force and repression. For those tweaking these outcomes – job done!

The decline of an empire always runs parallel with mob violence, mostly incomprehensibly stoked by those whose purpose is to ferment such chaos. Today unlike any time in our human history the achievement to distribute global chaos has never been easier nor more purposeful. Whether this will lead to an inevitable annihilation of the species or just a major readjustment will depend largely on those seeing through the curtain of deception. Tragically the time frame is almost meaningless for these things to transpire with positive outcomes.

The idea of America, or as it likes to refer to itself as the United States of America, coming to its senses is indeed a long shot at best. 3- Visions- George- WashingtonWay back as General George Washington sat in his command tent during the War of Independence, he was presented a vision and visitation by three ephemeral beings. Each of them laid out a future outcome. The first showed him the outcome of his present struggle. The second presented him with the future events we now recognize as the American Civil War. Insight into its resolution was presented. The third offered a future time when the decline and fall of an American empire presented itself confronted by the rest of the world standing up and declaring itself sick and intolerant of any more hegemony, psychopathic belligerence and infantile, despotic desires conquering the world.

Today it looks like we are presently living out this third vision presented over two centuries ago. Its outcome is in all of our hands.

That is why the Angel of Redemption then as now watches on to see where and how we might negotiate our own redemption. It was always going to be a close call and it is pretty obvious to most of us we have not gifted ourselves with much of a buffer.

For the sake of all our lives and earthly experience, I wish personally it turns out that the Angel, whose sword of truth can as easily swing in either direction, sweeps down and and helps us all cut away arrogance, denial, intolerance and angry stupidity so that we hasten growth and impetus towards evolution into what we laughingly so far have believed to have already created – a civilized society.

Hope springs eternal!

The Eagle has Fallen – Right on Cue

Taken from LivingZenBooks.com – Author Jonathan Trapman ©2017:

Division, division, division. Yada, yada, yada! Shock horror! The Second US Civil War is in full swing. Swipes at diversionary behavior with sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea. The (virtually) whole of Congress throws the Sanction Button switch to order. The Janus inspired two faces of Trump obeys the “Throw everyone into confusion” order coming from behind the curtain of control.

If this was Hollywood the thumbs down from critical appraisal would sink this film script before it got ten minutes into the matinee performance on the first day. Yet it is festering, fermented and flagged by the voice-box – aka – The Mainstream Media, like some broken record on crystal meth.

To that growing section of the Western world’s population caring for signs and portents this is not unexpected and more poignantly, really bad news for the next phase.

‘Why?’ you may ask.

Because with the transparency that is the hallmark of arrogant grandstanding, those  pulling the strings in this worsening theater piece have so little care for outcome and every intention for their own glory, even if that glory needed garnering from an underground bunker.

Lapping at the puppet masters’ every order are so many quisling yes guys in political high office, self serving corporate self interest and minions blindly following in the belief rewards follow like sweeties at the ‘tuck shop’ counter. Psychopaths and psychos in process all of them!

The pronouncements uttered and political suicide pills DC seem hell bent on taking have a sick familiarity to them and many ‘I told you so‘ echoes to them.

Truth be told, again: America has been carved out over many decades to fall on the sword of its own arrogant sense of great self, albeit unwittingly. It was set up in modern times through the manipulated Crash of 1929. So few have any idea of how much of a canary in the mine-shaft this event was. It was always taken as a huge economic disaster so many never saw coming. Yet for those uncovering the form, it had terminal written all over it.

That is the point – ignorance of true intent, true goings on – will always produce an intake of collective breath and horror at the seeming impossible transpiring. Think Titanic, World Wars I, II and III, the death of John Lennon, Patrice Lumumba, Gandhi and so much more.

World War III? It has not happened yet!

For those thinking thus, I rest my case.

Like a nail beaten forcibly and definitively into wood, America is being driven into the ground to become as the dust of 9/11 – set up, toxic, destroyed of all later evidence for forensic study and made to look completely unexpected. Though frankly for a nation so desensitized, disbelieving of its own self created demise you could forgive them for thinking so. Yet this sort of reaction is so far from reality as to be a perfect contender for one of their saccharin sweet, nauseatingly self adulatory Hollywood scripts with full cast clapping at the denouement!

The isolation the USA –  or being more factually correct – those in DC, within the Beltway and treasonous military interests, both client and supplier – is self created. They are marching to orders from forces who have taken over the established ruling order like cuckoos taking over the nest of an unsuspecting mother bird.

The destruction of the USA was preordained and that plan, through the blind self interest and utter stupidity of those sealing their collective fate, is right on cue and perfectly and symmetrically balanced.

Some might scream Russia, China and other smaller players are running this show. For your own sanity and for fear of being declared 100% blind deaf and dumb do not go there.

For those that have taken the poison the MSM spew out, like good pharma-crazed zombies, the fact it has nothing to do with these so called ‘enemies’ will seem illogical, unbelievable and so conspiratorial as to be rejected outright. If that is the case then be warned you have just signed your own death warrant!

For whatever comfort it offers, had both Russia, China and Iran not been as they stand today we’d be breathing already the deadly soup of apocalyptic fallout. It may merely still be  postponed, so count not your chickens quite yet.

What is obvious is that these three players were never expected to go this distance, with this amount of restraint and resistance. The miscalculation was as great and as admissible when we hear, just the other day, the head of the Rothschild cabal proclaim they have little idea of what the heck is going to happen next.

For two reasons, at least, this is a good sign. One, because not having any real planned idea of what happens next gives time for those sane enough to maintain a step ahead, keep their powder dry and outwit a force so long in total control. Secondly, these powers of control are not, as often is credited, entities of omnipotence and far sighted wisdom. Quite the opposite, their reactions almost always fall down into knee jerk mode making mistakes no one could have foreseen. This sort of positioning has and always will be the Achilles heel of psychopaths, moneyed or otherwise.

So for now, may I suggest you gather your personal powder, keep it dry, ditch fiat above any amount needed to meet the requirements of a system you interact with and watch for arrogance and overarching stupidity to crash into its own nemesis-filled end, most probably sooner than later.

In all of this, never fall for fear, just watch with engagement, keep others informed, supported and critically thinking, maintain non attachment and hold deep gratitude for being born to witness these most interesting of times. We all die one day, just make sure today is the very best of all days gifted you.  Thus the sweet juices of experience can be memorably etched deep into your very own Akashic phrase in the book of no rubbing out!

Once the Eagle has fallen, that is when the Phoenix will know and be invited to rise…..

Psychopaths and Terrorists – Core Cogs in the Western Wheel

It seems to be obvious most people living in the West are either inexplicably unaware of psychopathy in power or are too lazy to realize their lives are one premeditated march to concentration camps of either total servitude or annihilation. In the days before mass mind control became a global science, it was easy to be persuaded “Nazi Baddies” committed by far the worst crimes against humanity or Ghengis Khan was the scourge of the medieval world, to take but two examples.

Back then these events in their own ways, were masterfully manipulated to project an image of diabolical genocide on innocents, generational targeted cultures and anyone else serving as political emotional power triggers for labeling crimes against humanity. You might be persuaded to believe there was a master plan by those controlling the narrative to build a better world for all to live in. Many did just that and allowed a trenchant, maniacal lust for power and absolute control to be forged.

It was done so within a contextual language, among other means,  parrying and avoiding the reality committed. Killing innocent people becomes collateral damage, kill boxes, a video game visuology  for areas earmarked for destruction and embedding, a term revolting to my own circumstance, to paper over and explain away the factual placement of journalists, witness reporters disallowed to report only a particular slant of propagandized pulp fed the masses. The very word ‘terrorist‘ has become synonymous with anyone who breaks away from the status quo, the accepted norm and everything connected to disobedience to the entrenched system.

These word manipulations are essential to the purpose. They are pure NLP and their purpose is to desensitize the reader/listener, condition the mind, redirect the senses to the actuality they are being informed of or shown. We see this in other such unctuous and revolting descriptors: Fair Trade, infant mortality, Christian/Muslim/Jewish children/unfortunates/refugees and other such targeted segregatory terms. Then another huge lie dressed as acceptable – climate change! Orwell would be crawling and spinning in his grave and to remind ourselves of his own advice would seem timely:

“Let the meaning choose the word, and not the other way around”.

So how do these things relate to psychopathy and terrorists you may ask?celente-psycho-quote

In a world run and controlled by psychopathic leaders, henchmen/women and authoritarian followers across every tranche of life, enacting what their leaders promote to then mirror, the sick game –  we are swiftly and surely being ponerized and drawn into what is established as the acceptable norm. Programing and conditioning minds not strongly and practiced in critical thinking is the main objective, so that further conditioning is maintained and directed.

Ordinary folk ask how is it that the degeneration we witness today can be acceptable. So many wonder why the mainstream media do not point out the bloody obvious. What can be done to reverse such blind adherence and accepted normalcy of hundreds, thousands, tens and hundreds of thousands and millions of people being blighted, ostracized, mutilated and murdered in the cause of a better world and ‘freedom and democracy’ ?

The answer is simple – we are being groomed to become our best psychopathic self. For those failing to comply they are hunted down, slaughtered, ostracized or mocked terminally.

The bottom line is – we all carry within us the psychopathy gene, the tendency towards full blown psychopathic behavior. Many display sociopathic tendencies and are often encouraged to extol them – the neo-liberal movement in the US recently shaming itself shamelessly comes to mind. Under the right tutelage, mind control and guidance we are all able to succumb to our very own terrorist, our unique psycho killing machine.

We only need to look at the schooling and social conditioning of the youngest among us to see this planned and ordered campaign in action. Hollywood may portray the arch criminal, the child killer, the cannibal as the only psychopath of import. Pathetically this very portrayal to mold our mental comprehension is all part of the smoke and mirrors. They will never admit their own psychopathy and intent to defraud and deform our intellectual foundations.

Too many of us have been ‘bought’ through technology tools perfectly formed to distract, denude mental acuity and perfected to create dependency through external stimulae and forces under their control.sociopath-rant

How otherwise can we explain why we say nothing as hundreds of thousands are gassed, killed maimed and genetically deformed for generations in Yemen, in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan? Why do we not rise up and demand those poisoning millions, chocking us and treating us like cattle in the USA, Europe, Africa and elsewhere?

You think we in the so called civilized West are not being maimed, crippled, poisoned and exterminated like the poorest in the labeled pariah states chosen as the necessary extermination centers of Western greed and hegemony?

Think again. The pharmaceutical companies, food corporations, so called health agencies and other corporate and military industrial criminals rely on our addiction to their poisons and hardware to milk us every day of our shortening lives.

These actions are not the actions of a humanity entrenched society. They are the criminal actions of a psychopathic driven tribe to greed and self interested accumulation at any cost.

We should be revolting in the streets, in the cities and villages of our world. Yet we accept this as part of a depravity we cannot effect. Such is the spineless reaction of the many we are happy to give away our greatest weapon against this monstrous imposition – ourselves.

Withdrawing our cooperation, support and connection to these people, their system is the only way we re-own and retake our power.

Until we do this meaningfully, massively we can expect the slaughter of the masses to gain even more traction and strength. As we allow it to grow we have only our indolent selves to blame but even that truth will be cast upon the next proscribed third party object of evil, as the lies perpetrate the necessity for the killing spree to continue – for the rape and theft of our natural heritage to be plundered incessantly.

What a sorry dance we perform – like pathetic caged animals in a dystopian zoo we keep ourselves at the mercy of the circus whip and the cruelty of the ongoing orgiastic show!

Grand Theft Distraction – No Virtual World, It’s Real!

When the magician wishes you to see his trick a heavy dose of distraction is employed. The better the employment the greater the magician appears to be.
When power structures wish to bamboozle, lie and obfuscate using global deceit they distract populations and groups, specific or global using the same methodology.

Today we’re told we have more at our fingertips to learn, be informed and appraise our growth in an evolving world. All the stuff at our disposition to help us manage, comprehend and make the best possible decisions and choices when it comes to personal and collective position. We’re soothed into believing we have never had so much to help so many become or remain free, self aware and self accumulating. We’re told we are blessed in so many ways. Our lives a silk thread’s breadth away from being fabulous.

At the same time an increase on terror, illustrations of freedom lost, economies in hyper bubble dire straits and the need to staunch and prevent a gaping, growing hole in the ship of state to be fixed. Necessity has never been so called upon to supply draconian responses, they imply, for our own good.

It would not be out of place, in the way these power structures sell themselves to throw up the avenging parental analogy, guardians of the greater good, protectors of a people. The imprecation ‘We’re all in it togetherWe’re exceptional‘ ‘There’s a war on for our hearts and minds‘ ‘Those freedoms so hard struggled for are at dire risk‘ ‘We’re faced with an enemy hell bent on taking XYZ away from us‘. These are a few of the trigger phrases pumped out, regurgitated and repeated ad infinitum.

A necessary enemy has always been the foundation stone for military expansionism, creating both strategies and physical means to face up and challenge aggression real or imagined. Be it in economic terms, survival against natural disasters or plain bad guys hell bent on conquering our precious ‘way of life‘,  freedom and democracy the need for control, weapons and restrictions are imperative. The emotive ‘blood and treasure‘ are exhorted.

The Art of Distraction is an ancient art. History illustrates its longevity. With so much technological skill and informational resources at our disposal it is easy believing the Modern Day Magician is hard pressed to fool us. That assumption is the first and very basic mistake we would make.

We’re replete with ways never dreamed of in years gone by. CGI is a very obvious illustration of what can be achieved. The days of painting out treasonous figures from an old photo is crude compared with conjuring complete battles, wars and criminal activity only existing in digital landscapes presented us as truth. The editing suite doubles as a spear of propaganda and twisted perception. It may look real to addled minds, yet to critical thought, informed appraisal and eagle eye it still is just another set of magic tricks.

Such complex scenarios although undoubtedly used are not essential all the time for most of us. Used for game changing moments such as were witnessed in 1969, 2001 and so many false flag events littering the path of present day shenanigans, most of the time all that is needed is a continual diet of half truths, lies and repetitive propaganda spewed forth from television and wider media. Mobile technologies, the next numerical G roll out, electromagnetic technologies offering solution rich living aids inveigled into our lives through Internet, AI and wi-fi compound the daily diet of mental dumb downing.

Constantly subjected to beliefs that economic scarcity, lack of basic provision and inherent fear of loss we are forced to swallow the creed controlled by the powers that be that the sure way forward is under their best guidance.

Manipulated global lack, be it food, energy resources, psychological impediments in the guise of foreign belief structures invading minds and lives through false news, errant beliefs, virus creations and refugees are laid out. The injury to individual and collective health, the threat these  pose demands handing control over to our masters.

The greatest distraction, the never ending lie has always been – It is our good and best interests that are served when such powers enforce their ways. Bombarded for so long and intensely, both liminally and subliminally, it becomes harder and harder to separate the real from the virtual, truth from fiction.

Most, not holding the skills or desire to pick out this grand entanglement, retreat into a well padded comfort zone where cognitive dissonance rules. Denial and deafness become brother and sister. Hate, distaste, irrationality and prejudice become the mother and father of all reaction. The Magicians look on, drooling at the success having nullified critical thought, appraisal and transparency to see through of the veils drawn down.

Today we stand in a world where truth is a heinous crime, transparency a criminal weakness, kindness folly, empathy wishy washy, touchy feely and the mark of sissies and the powerless. The pretense practicing and demonstrating such qualities becomes acceptable only when not impinging the goal of obedience to party line and political correctness. Irrelevancies are fed us to lush out on. Such feed compounds the distraction without redirecting the main mission. Television supplies a feast to argue over, rile against and media in general, through celebrity, envy and lack pits each one against the other, easily maintaining vacuous entertainment. Bread and circus comes full spectrum 21st century with apps, hand-helds, microwaves controlling and hate fests in every shape and size, be it LGBT, black, white, Commies, foreigners, refugees, trolls – the list is endless. Intolerance  a powerful, useful means in keeping people divided, holding emotional reaction in a permanent red zone, its creative use more often than not hits overdrive, whilst simultaneously expressed as evil. Dual purpose has never been so dark.

Under these conditions persuading people imminent danger, be it terrorism, war, invasion, freedom or the destruction of bought into life styles are about to go belly up is easy. Draconian responses become far more palatable, more easily accomplished and so often demanded by the abused themselves. Yet all the time few realize how manipulated and deceitful these things are in their full deception.

The Brexit game played out on the population is one such trick. Of and by itself fashioned to offer an acceptable way to withdraw from an uncontrolled, undemocratic system of group control, it sowed huge division. Stepping back, understanding where this leads an unfortunate and unwitting state, be it leave or remain, denies seeing the trick of the light played that was merely a distraction into chaos both within Europe and the UK. That fermenting chaos as we presently witness and experience is merely laying down fertile soil for the next stage to be sown seamlessly into our psyche.

Manipulated illegal take overs of states by a variety of players HQ’d inside the Beltway and lobbied wildly by the MIC war machine, NATO, allies various and the backing bankers and money men further ratchet up tensions creating Russian, Chinese and Iranian ‘enemies’. Proxy puppets in the shape of ISIS, Boko Haram and all the other shitty little psycho players are all called up to play their part. Sanitized apartheid practices, genocide, torture and despotic control over innocent people by illegitimate ‘so-called Semites’, Cuckoos in the Palestinian nest,  has become a well oiled art. Alongside rabid stigmatization of anyone questioning their practices, revealing their true nature and game, elicits desperate, draconian, underhand methods imperiling so far more than the few playing heinous, disastrous games. Empires have always been constructed thus. It is just the violence employed today is hidden behind screens of deceptive distraction. Its degradation, psychotic employment is sanitized in verbal NLP vocabulary making it sound a mere everyday irritation or error.

Today these toys of distraction confront a growing critical mass of awareness calling out this Grand Theft Distraction, revealing it for its true being. The audacity in throwing into plain sight what in truth is dark and evil comedy reveals an arrogant hubris that by and of itself turns into its own suicide belt.

Calling them out, exposing the Hollow Wizards behind putrid curtains of deceit may well encourage such Powers to play a full and final hand. Convincing us all it is for our own good demands calling their bluff, exposing the lie and in truly heroic terms, allowing good guys to win this centuries old battle. Battle it is, as the War is as old as humanity itself and an ongoing struggle as it has ever faced. How the War is waged will only be gradually revealed as we manage evolution and ourselves.

It always comes at huge human cost. This is the paradox of life. Death is integral and absolute in such an equation. We may crave a fairy tale yet our stumbling, ever searching progress defines that the very experience must tear itself from the childish fairy tale and grow into a far more mature and adult, essential to achieving our destiny.

Reality is the stuff of our own creation. Virtual equivalences hold no soul, nothing more than experimentation within a powerful operational tool. Outcomes can be magicked, hi-tech AI solutions created yet the exploration and development of our human being will reveal we ourselves hold everything needed to realize the solution – that is our journey. Distraction in any form, self created or imposed from outside disrupts, delays and impedes on the path to true freedom.

Knowing oneself offers not only the best suit of armor but also turns into the most nourishing diet we could ever have desired.

Tory Elite Take Down Grenfell House with Collateral Damage: Really feel the pain of those suffering, they tell us!

Easy read article for all 140 character attention span readers:
When your motive is profit and you give not one single F*ck for ordinary people the arson of a building such as Grenfell House in North Kensington, London is merely taken as an unforeseen consequence on the road to selfish acquisitional advancement.

South London fire in 2013 kills 6 – investigation as to cause and outcome presents need for public places – eg schools, blocks of flats etc – suggests botched renovation as major cause. Sprinklers recommended and bill for human habitation voted against by many Tories who were landlords and had vested interests in not passing such bills.

Tory Housing Minister ‘sits on’ bill that recommends everything that would have saved lives in most recent block fire in Kensington.

Young local, Joshua, at the scene of the furnace rightly gets his judgement aired on an otherwise very biased BBC propaganda bullhorn – worth listening to every word he says. We are entering even darker times when the rule of law is ridden over roughshod by those feeling they are above the law and hold it in such contempt.

Time for revenge, vengeance and retribution for all senseless deaths created by an arrogant elite anywhere in the world.

Time for calling time on all those who care not one jot for lives lost yet plead they are empathic to suffering they cause by greed and deed.

To paraphrase Henry II famously about Thomas à Becket- “Who will rid me of these arrogant Tory beasts?”

Time for Justice, Corbyn and a People’s Parliament!

In Bed With Terror – A Very British Way To Rule!

Terror is the one emotion able to freeze anyone’s tracks. Play this ace card and the game is won, albeit temporarily. Terrify your people and for an immediate period everything is sharply held in the cross hairs of Terror – long enough to convince them their safety needs controls, dirty dealings and the very worst of actions overcoming what is portrayed as clear and present danger and necessity.orangeorder

When this principle is enacted by a ruling government, with or without majority, consent or discussion then we walk directly into and through the door of unacceptability, indecency and trashing the principles of law and human rights.

The General Election of May 2017 has produced a result enabling potential consequences expanding an already eager ruling party intent on befriending funding and promoting the very worst terrorist ideologues and terror states in the world today. All done with such unconscionable ease of self serving goals and little desire for global stability and peace. With no mandate from the people the present Tory party snuggles up to one of the most right wing, homophobic and terror driven parties standing alone as some sort of partner for illegitimate collusion.

From December 1969 to July 1997 both the IRA and their Unionist opposites set into an the-good-friday-agreement-fcb-agreement-c86830af6b0a22248c758e32b8a1f95a-large-130081internecine war against each other and ultimately against the State. The Good Friday agreement sealing a fragile peace, with no little effort from all sides categorically stated neither party was to have any mainland government preferences shown them. Their autonomy and non influence on laws affecting mainland political argument was sacrosanct. That Sinn Féin has historically never represented itself in Parliament at Westminster is and always has been their choice. In 2015 the EVEL law made it impossible for parties such as the DUP to vote on English laws. Brexit does not fall under that law yet everything else does.

The Conservatives, well at least Theresa May in her thoroughly weakened state, havedupad tried to ‘fix’ a deal with the DUP in order to give an impression of majority. Like so much of their previous manipulating, it merely presented a mirage of deception and lies. It will never hold any meaningful water.

What is more terrifying is the history and make up of the DUP apart from its frighteningly archaic beliefs and principles, was as much a terror organisation as the Provisional Irish Republican Army. That this irony has not even crossed the conversation of the mainstream is typical, yet it highlights how easy it has always been for the right wing, both Conservative and blue Labour to have leapt into bed with the worst terror cells/governments on the planet for purpose and self gain. Present relationships with the

daeshmay

Daesh Darlings

likes of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Israel and the largest terrorist protagonist on the planet, Washington DC, a state so unipolar and out of control within the United States as to threaten the safety of the whole world, illustrates the colour and determination to fool and subvert in order to keep not only the fear factor alive and well with control over the people in order but also their handle on a very British despotism.

British governments are no strangers to these tactics. The British Raj and the Irish Famine are two burning pyres of examples. Their use over the whole span of Empire

blown_from_canons

Indians blown from cannons

maintained useful dominance, criminal cruelty and total dominance. Their use of terror tactics so often covered over and concealed by proxy forces and deliberately created ‘terror cells’ merely illustrated the utter contempt it held and still holds for its population and all outside the coterie of collective self enrichment.

With a hung Parliament we are faced with accepting the unacceptable, promoting the blindingly obvious illegal ways now being engineered to look like majority rule. Using all the energy and potent justice empowered by a historically successful progress  Labour, their leader Jeremy Corbyn and those many whose eyes are now wide open to travesties transgressed and pushed down the throats and ears of a population not accepting the status quo, solutions need formulating.

I have already laid out the silent hidden partners, nay controllers, of these antics in another article needing to be exposed however this moment the injustices, illegal operational ploys the Conservatives are trying to serve up MUST be staunched, stopped and robbed of any legitimacy they foist upon us.

Our voice collective and loud is needed at this time like no other – fresh from robbed votes and appalling misjudgments – its imperative is absolute  to be heard and seen as never BallymurphyMassacre_smbefore. The positive progress engendered by Corbyn and the Left, in spite of attritional media attempts to compound the lies, especially  portraying him as a terrorist sympathiser are now ugly in their transparent deceit. The present so called government are and always have been the real terror colleagues and outrageous deceivers.

The shockingly terrifying truth is that a party of such specious content, approach and attitude is about to lie down with their pet ‘friends and allies’ whose terror credentials have always been most vociferous, vengeful and venal.

Would it not seem opportune to call time on these terror elements, factions and perpetrators  posing as this illegitimate  government persuading us accept them as the voice of the people?

Brexit will be hard for these liars, ironically fulfilling their stated goal yet once again for all the reasons they so desperately did not cater for – we the people will make it hard for them to get their way and eventually our will and wish will get its way and direct sanity, tolerance and compassion back centre stage as their legitimacy crumbles into the dust created on the demise of every tyrannical obsession!

Word War One – The Pen v The Sword

“No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.” – John Keating

As a journalist having worked in and experienced many war zones it became obvious the pen is far mightier than the sword. Truth speaks more fluently through it than it does through gun barrel or rocket launcher, yet because there is far greater financial gain making munitions and raping countries’ natural wealth once conquered, the balance of odds looks tipped in the warmongering aggressors’ direction.

Information, educated facts and truths are the enemy of any war. Thus it is said the first casualty in any conflict is truth.

I witnessed first hand the bloody connivance of the British establishment and militarytot-in-greece-12-13 during the Balkan Wars. Their support for the Ottoman Empire’s murderous process was the final straw making me throw in my commission, take up my pen and make sure words became my anti war effort. The slim volume The Greeks Triumphant went some way towards that in supplying truthful witness reporting, albeit ignored during the First World War, whose lies and deceit in starting were the same problem reoccurring! greek-triumphant-scover

Today in 21st century reporting, journalism for the main rags and television have been utterly corralled and controlled by not only oligarchs but oligarchs in the pay and club of the Zionist Rothschild Banking cartel I fought many years of my later life exposing these facts  as anyone can find in Dreams and Realities. That this malevolent construct has embedded itself as absolute power is testament to not only people not paying enough attention but also to the power of a technological  methodology perfecting the spread words as propaganda and mind control.

This Word War was ignited and fanned by the attempts of the Fakers and Liars to point their pens at real Truth Tellers, focused and well researched exposers of such malfeasance. Their shouts of Foul! and Fake News! is merely well rehearsed distraction and diversion. It is the oldest game in the book to point at others diverting and describing the perpetrators own evils, sins and lies! To a dumb, dormant and compliant populace this repetition swiftly embeds itself as truth. The reality is it is so far from the truth as to make a critically thinking person weep!

This warfare is extremely dangerous as it invites any number of specious casus belli be offered up when in reality the very lies are the weakest maintenance of an untruth – the expansion of Empire. These are actions of a psychopathic, sick and evil construct dying in its own shit pool, as it is revealed and brought closer to its own unmasking. Exposure always encourages madcap action – a final solution – the destruction of mankind for the sake of the few, psychotically believing their immunity is sacrosanct from such terminal work.

Cries of helplessness are everywhere. The machine against them portrayed as so vast as to be insurmountable. Fears born out of ignorance of reality or plain refusal to look beyond the nose of their own comfort zones, feed this nonsensical position. Yet even the heights of Mount Olympus were brought low, exposed and found to be made of clay. What is needed is the destruction of this toxic mould. How that can be achieved is by working and agitating intelligently on a level where an individual can make a difference – locally. Most of us will never find ourselves in the public eye, we therefore do not have at our disposal the means to broadcast widely, in spite of the Internet.

Where potential is most effective for change through an individual, is within their own  sphere of influence. We are not all politicians, public speakers, celebrities (thank god!) or writers, film makers or popular activists in the wider world. However we all have our own community, even if that may be just two or three. These spaces are the best and most important to activate, educate and encourage into action. That many of the top ranked, most visible are owned, controlled and manipulated by the very forces who are the problem – The Cuckoo Zionist Corporate Bankster cabals alongside their puppets – we individually are not directly, merely allowing ourselves to become complaint, manipulated and abused.

Using  intelligence, diligence and the innate power we hold, it is incumbent on us all to stir a movement where truth is recognized, uncovered wherever it presents, which inevitably will never be found within the resources most people gather their news and information from.

Is social media a preferred and likely place for gearing up active support and dissemination of truth and reality? Yes true to a degree, yet it harbors also breeding grounds for control, deception and manipulation. By sowing doubt, lies, untruth, ‘fake news’ and all sorts of other games of subterfuge spy masters and elite make their craft, through the likes of Mossad, CIA, GCHQ and  other criminally controlled alphabet agencies and are past masters leading ill prepared individuals and groups who lack critical thinking, into confusion, dissemblance and frustration. I know, having been enrolled in their ranks at the outset of  modern spymasters’ Secret Services, it was and always is a dirty little secrets business.brainwashed

In every organization there are those who know the truth of things. These lights within the darkness break out, break silence to disseminate at vast personal cost for the greater good. These so-called whistle-blowers are never aided by ill-informed couch potatoes spewing off in social environments, their ignorant beliefs pronouncing how this and that fellow is controlled opposition/part of the elite etc. As if ignorance, zero knowledge and guess work ever uncovered truth, let alone being helpful. My advantage was and always has been to commit myself to finding the truth in any matter, through extensive and deep research, constantly asking questions, holding judgment until facts, not assumptions or logical fallacies persuade me to conclusions as bright as day.

An excellent source for beginners and professional alike is this web site. Its free downloaded or printed version of a logical fallacies poster is essential weaponry in the cause of Word War One.Screen Shot 2017-04-28 at 12.33.23

The Internet, its programs, diversionary games, social sites and the rest is still, at the time of writing, a place where truth, facts and revelation can be fertile ground for awakening those whose minds have been limited. As I wrote in another article – it is in our power to change the odds, to set the program, as we have the numbers on our side. All the words and supplications the Powers That Be engage us in are mere whistling in the wind set against our power of denial of compliance, refusal to buy into their beliefs, rules or anything that contradicts the free and absolute right of our individual and collective sovereignty. So many forget this basic and founding principle we are – Sovereign!

So using every avenue, every opportunity and every means communicate the truth of what really is, what research has divulged. Anyone feeling they know too little then – get wised up, become informed and put all of that into action.

Anyone who does not becomes the problem. Anyone shirking their personal responsibility for the comfort of letting others do the work is complicit in helping the enemy win their case by abstention.

  • Start voting tactically – yes every vote counts, especially the votes that proclaim, “I will not be stolen!” None more importantly than this year 2017
  • Write in social media, without hate, loathing or other negativity – write truths, source references – research do not become lazy and take someone else’s word for it or worse, just re-post, parrot or regurgitate an unchecked, unverified publish. It just multiplies the bull!
  • Talk to family, friends and co workers – find out what they think – ask them why and where they got the confirmation for these beliefs. If it was through the TV, newspapers and mainstream, note that. Educate through example and excellent resources and research rather than forceful denying them their view. Better still share sources that contradict their opinion and get them to open a critical mind. We all have one rusty, snagged or operating well.
  • Take time meet people at their level no matter how low and show them how hypnotized they have allowed themselves through lapping up propaganda, manipulation and relinquishing control.
  • Always remember a horse can be taken to water but never made to drink. People cemented to their viewpoint and intransigent will only remain there, so move on: Never waste time and energy nor get plugged into stagnant and putrifying energy.

There are always those preferring destruction through blindness, ignorance and fear – just never spend too long around these types. We are far too close to the midnight hour.

The Word War, spoken and written,  may not feel like a gun in hand, yet alongside conviction, well done research and an absolute belief in truth and humanity, it becomes a far more powerful nuclear option than any bomb and best of all spills no blood of and by itself.

Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.” – Rumi

Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs.” – Pearl Strachan Hurd

“All I need is a sheet of paper and something to write with, and then I can turn the world upside down.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
